5 Stars There is more than one reason to own the Red 747
1st You are looking at the Red Swingline Stapler because you are a fan of the movie Office Space. I know that is the reason I bought my Red Swingline. If you put this on your desk coworkers and strangers alike will say “Excuse me I believe you took my stapler”. This is always a great conversation starter when someone visits your desk. Beware if you work in a large office most likely someone will steal your stapler.
2nd The 747 is a nice heavy stapler, it is built to do the job and I have never had a problem with mine. It staples thru aprox 25 pages at a time. In the the several years that I have had my stapler I have never had it jam which can not be said for cheaper models. Swingline is known for staplers and the 747 is a good dependable stapler.
Easily worth the $14 for both the entertainment value and the durability.
4 Stars Wonderful useful tribute to Office Space
I absolutely LOVE the movie “Office Space” and thought this stapler would be a useful way to make my own tribute to the movie. The stapler my work gave me was very flimsy, so having this Swingline 747 is a huge step up! The stapler itself is strong, sturdy, and gets the job done. It’s fun to see how coworkers react based on if they’ve seen the movie. Some will say “What a great stapler! I love that movie!” Others will say “Nice stapler…the color makes it look so retro”. I always remind them to watch the movie if they haven’t already.
The only reason I took a star away, was because the stapler’s red color is slightly orange-ish. It could definitely be redder, but all in all, it’s a wonderful stapler with a quirky movie reference behind it!

This is by far the best of any stapler I’ve used. I really wanted it just for the Office Space connection, but it’s actually a great stapler. Much more heavy duty than other Swinglines I’ve had. And it adds a nice punch of color to my desk!
