The Panasonic KX-TS105B is one of the sets listed as compatible with the Plantronics CS55H headset, which is one of the reasons I chose this phone for my home office setup.

One element of that compatibility is how well the handset lifter (Plantronics HL10) fits on the phone. On the KX-TS105B, it works perfectly. I haven’t yet used the speaker phone, so I can’t comment on sound quality, but it’s fairly simple to program speed dial buttons and works reliably. One thing I like about it is that it does not require an electrical outlet — it takes 3 AA batteries.

I have been using this phone daily for about 6 weeks. I am very impressed. Very clear speakerphone. Works great with my corded headset too. Easy to set up autodial numbers. Only downside is that there is no caller ID.

It works well as advertised. However its display is not very easy to read.

2 Stars Caller ID doesn’t work consistently
I was looking for a basic phone with caller ID. No frills, little excitement. The phone works fine, but the caller ID will only recognize the incoming calls about half or two-thirds of the time. My other phone will quickly make the identification, so I suspect that it reflects the quality of this unit’s caller ID feature. Otherwise, it is easy to use, has all of the basic features, and a well functioning speaker phone.

2 Stars Very poor speakerphone quality
I bought this phone primarily for its speakerphone and it is very disappointing. The sound cuts in and out constantly. The rest of the phone functions are just fine, but if speakerphone is necessary for you, don’t get this phone.

Great, easy to use, and high quality telephone for the money. I needed a corded speaker phone with a mute function for taking business calls when I work at home. Sound quality is crisp and clear, even on speaker phone. Light indicator shows when you’re on mute and speaker phone. It has a battery backup for power outages.

My only complaint is that you actually have to refer to the instructions to install the batteries, as the set up is not intuitive. Also, AT&T could have included a light indicator for the hold button. Overall, very satisfied with purchase.

this is a great phone. i love everything about it. i’ve had this for a month no problems yet. Previously i had an AT&T one of the extenions went bad, this phone however doesnt show on its dispay missed calls and the time of day like some others, other than that i have no problems with it. signal is very good.

Happy with the phone set. I like being able to change the ring tone. Easy to use. Very small and compact for land line phones

3 Stars Problems Develop Over Time
Have owned this phone for about a year. I’ve always bought Uniden phones and this one was great at first. Unfortunately, one by one, all 3 phones now have similar problems. The phones go “out of range” at random times during a conversation. That puts the call on hold until you can find another phone or it might eventually re-connnect if the other person hasn’t hung up. The center navigation button no longer works on 2 of the phones and I’m expecting the 3rd to go out anytime now. Their quality control isn’t what it used to be, I guess. Won’t be getting Uniden again.

Good reception and call quality. I have older phones and believe it or not, the little light on the extra handsets was a feature I wanted. I can’t tell you how many times we had a handset hung up but not charging.
